  1. I am so happy to have stumbled upon this blog today. I’ve been feeling overwhelmed lately & struggling with self doubt. It’s nice to know that I’m not alone!

  2. I’m very excited that stumbled on your website! I am currently struggling with self-doubt and this is what I need. I am struggling with what my purpose in my ministries are. I lead one ministry and co-lead another. You are spot on with a few of my self doubts. May God Bless you and your family.

    • Thank you for your encouragement, Deanna! I am praying for you. May God give you wisdom and purpose, a clear sense of His direction. May He use you for His honor and glory. And, when you and I are both filled with self-doubt, may He remind us of Who He truly is! May God bless you.

  3. I just found your page!!!! OH what a blessing this has been. God has given us here at Riverside Baptist Church in Helena, AL the privilege of having an After School program for the past 20 years. Your sweet printable messages are coming out of my printer as I type this. I cannot wait to share these with the 80+ children that come to our church every day. Thank you for taking the time to bless others. As we say here when we leave out our front doors, “Entering OUR Mission Field” Again these will be shared to spread the gospel of Jesus. Until we meet one day in Heaven. Marla Gallavan/Director of After School and Summer Camp/Riverside Baptist Church Helena, AL

    • Oh, Marla, this puts a smile on my face. Thank you so much for your encouragement! And, thank you so much for caring for these children. May God bless you and be with you, give you strength and wisdom as you minister to these children.

  4. I love your printables, especially the finger folders! I have a very anxious little owl lover and I think she’ll love the night owl box, too! Thank you!!
I was wondering if you had a finger folder or little holiday fold out suitable for a birthday. If not, just a brainstorm idea. They could be used as an activity for the kids, a craft for the kids, and also as the party favor, they could have scriptures about being fearfully and wonderfully made, or God knowing the plans he has for us, etc,

  5. Hi, my name is Robin. I’ve been doing the Christmas Scripture reflection and the prayer journal and I was wondering do you have something coming up for the month of January?
I love sending the love notes in my husbands lunch bad and leaving him the little scripture cards. He likes it too.

    • Robin, unfortunately I will not have another Bible study finished in time for January. I plan to start working on one soon called Prayerful Meditations, studying different prayers from the Bible and encouraging each of us to be more intentional in prayer. I will be sending out emails when it is ready. Thank you so much for your encouragement. May God bless you!

  6. Hi there, I like your site. I am looking for bible resources to use with our Gems(Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior) outreach club. I would love to use your little verse booklets, but we use New King James. Would it be possible for you to add this to your version list. May the Lord bless your ministry. I am a writer too, wrote an encouragement book for Christian Moms entitled, Calling All Moms. Thanks. Laurie Kenyon, Ontario

  7. Hi…I’ve downloaded your 2 wisdom studies to use with my children this year in our homeschool. I’m really excited about it! It’s so well done! Thank you!

I wanted to put in a request: would you prayerfully consider creating a study on Psalm 1? I have searched online and haven’t found one designed for children. I feel Psalm 1 is so very important for our young people to understand as they grow and mature into adults. It’s so foundational.

Thank you, again, for allowing the Lord to use your gifts to serve Him and bless others like myself and my children.

    Blessings,
    Cathy, TX

    • That’s such a great idea, Cathy! Thank you for suggesting it. I do love Psalm 1 and will be thinking about the possibility of a study for kids based on it. May God bless you! Anna Joy.

  8. Who are men writers like this? I am learning so much from your site, but who can we point our husbands to in this type of format? 🙂 Any suggestions on parenting from a man/father with the same Christian values and perspective?

    • Thanks for your question! I would point men towards jackiebledsoe.com , crossway.org/blog/ (combination of posts for men and women), desiringgod.org (combination of posts), and intoxicatedonlife.com (written by husband and wife team.) I hope this helps!

  9. Do you create or can you create Bible verses in King James version of the Bible?
I love your sight. My grandkids are avid readers (ages 11, 9, 8, and 6). The books are fantastic.
I also teach pre-school Sunday school (ages 3-5) but use only KJV. It would be terrific if you had some printables in this version of the Bible.

    • Patsy, thank you so much for stopping by! If you have subscribed to the weekly email, you will receive a password to the subscriber’s library of free printables. In that library, you will see that several of the printables are available in King James Version, as well as NIV and ESV. Simply click on the KJV version to download the printables in KJV. May God bless you! Anna Joy.

  10. What a breath of Gods air. I stumbled onto this site and am so refreshed. Thank you for this lovely site of encouragement! I also would prefer KJV scripture if you could offer it as a option. Boy, I’m finding KJV sure riles up something in people; but it’s not that hard to understand and I still prefer it.

    • Thank you so much for stopping by, Deb, and for your kind words of encouragement. I like KJV, too, although I currently am reading from NASB. I will keep this in mind as I continue developing printables. May God bless you!

  11. I just love your beautiful work!!! What a blessing to others! Do you happen to offer anything in the KJV, as this is the version our family uses? I have really enjoyed exploring your site. I am a mother of 9 and it is so helpful to find things that encourages our walk with Jesus and ends up saving me time. Thank you for all your hard work.

    • Thank you so much for your encouragement, Hope. I use NASB for most of the printables and NKJV for the Bible studies. In a past survey, the majority of blog readers indicated that they used the NIV, while the ESV was a close second. NASB, KJV, and no preference were all tied for third place. The results were so evenly divided that it is very hard to know what version will best resonate with the majority of families, so I am sticking with my favorites – NASB and NKJV. I would be very willing to change to KJV if a majority of people indicated that it was their preference (but not to the NIV or Living Word translations). That was a long answer to a simple question! Thanks again for your comments and for stopping by. May God bless you and your family.

  12. Hey!
I can so relate to your teachings on worship.

As a mentor, trying to teach women how to pursue a passionate relationship with God, He’s blessed me with many “writings” (seriously, almost like taking dictation – the Spirit takes over, I go back over it and read and say, “Wow, God, You did a great job here.” (Hope that doesn’t sound egotistical, I mean it totally opposite – totally humbled that He allowed me to write it.

    Anyway, okay, squirrel moment there…..

One of those writings (you can find all of them on my blog) is called The Lordship Factor. It has, forever changed my perspective on my relationship with God, as well as how and why I worship Him. Just thought maybe you could use the motivation as well. It’s here https://bessfisher.wordpress.com/2012/03/26/the-lordship-factor/ .

    • Thanks for stopping by, Beth! I am excited to read some of your articles. May God bless you and your ministry as you seek to encourage women to pursue passionate relationships with God!
