Are you are looking for simple ways to keep toddlers quiet in public places? You are in the right place!
Church Quiet Bags are perfect for church services, long car trips, or visits to the doctor. Best part? You can make them, stick them in a diaper bag or purse, and forget them until you need them. When you do need them, you are prepared!
The Felt Shapes Church Quiet Bags have been my kids’ favorite Quiet Bag so far. (And, yes, my children are much older than toddlers!) They love acting out stories with these felt shapes. Watch the video clip below to see how they work:
I have included patterns for a day scene and a night scene, land and water, trees and boats. These shapes are perfect for acting out the story of Creation, Noah’s Ark, or of Jesus’ miracles of calming the storm or helping the disciples catch a huge number of fish.
Felt in various colors, including light blue, black or gray, medium or dark blue, dark green, light green, white, yellow, and brown.
Fish and/or Animal Stickers (The thicker stickers sold in the scrapbook section of craft stores are perfect!)

Felt Shapes Church Quiet Bags Printables [Print now!]
1. Print the Felt Shapes Church Quiet Bags Printables.
2. Reserve one full light blue and one full gray or black piece of felt for the backgrounds. Cut out the shapes as desired from the other pieces of felt, using the printable shapes as templates.
3. (Adults Only!) Pull the stickers off of their backing and arrange them sticky side down onto the felt, leaving enough space to cut around the stickers. Then, lift them one by one off of the felt. Using a hot glue gun, carefully apply a small line of glue around the back perimeter of the sticker and press it firmly into the felt. Repeat until all of the stickers have been glued to the felt. Cut them apart.
4. You are done! Fold the larger felt pieces and insert them and the smaller pieces into the binder pouch for easy storage.
As with all Church Quiet Bags, the Felt Shapes Church Quiet Bags are meant to be used with ADULT SUPERVISION only. The small pieces and stickers could be choking hazards for young children, so make sure that your child will not put the pieces in their mouths before allowing them to play with this quiet bag.
