Printable Sermon Notes Sheet

Providing young listeners with a sermon notes page is an excellent way to help them focus on the sermon.

These free printable sermon notes pages are double-sided and include a Sunday morning checklist, space for sermon notes and application, and a take-home challenge. These pages offer parents and kids a wonderful opportunity to discuss the sermon.

“Promotion Sunday” is coming up in my church, during which a fresh crop fifth graders are introduced into the preaching service. And, this year, my twins are among those sitting through the service for the first time. So, when my friend Lisa asked me to work with her in coming up with a printable sermon notes page for our church, I was super excited.

Lisa came up with these excellent questions which help young listeners pay attention to the service and apply the things that they have learned to their own lives.

My church plans to have these sermon note pages available for young listeners with clipboards and pens that they can pick up as they go into the auditorium (and return the clipboards when they are done). This is such a great way to help kids feel a welcome part of the “adult” service.

  1. Anna, you are blessed with a talent of creating the most beautiful and very useful Sermon Notes Pages. I printed them and started handing one or two out to those who wanted to make notes. The response I had from the parents were amazing. This Sunday, I printed them all and handed them out to everyone. Needless to say, the children are super excited and they feel so important. This is definitely helping our children live the Word not only on a Sunday, but during the whole week. Thank you for blessing us with your wonderful creations.

    • Diana, when you click the download link, the printables will automatically download onto your computer. You can go back and find the file in your recent downloads file – or open it from the bottom bar on your computer. I hope this helps.
